Life Reimagined or Reimaging Your Life

Life Reimagined

Life Reimagined or Reimaging Your Life

I received an opportunity to try out and review AARP’s site Life Reimagined.  They’re defining this site as

Life Reimagined is a vision, a methodology, and a community that helps people rediscover what truly matters and focus on what they really want to do.

What the site allowed me to do was to follow a questionnaire that led me to the purpose statement or Life Map below.  My words are the ones that are highlighted.

I answered questions about my goals, passions, impacts, values, and possibilities and that is how I got the statement above.

The Life Reimagined program allows you to choose the program that you’re most interested in, helps you follow the steps to reach your goals, and helps you to keep going on your path.

After I completed this task, I was given the opportunity to have a one hour life coaching session.  What I liked about this process is that I got to choose my life coach from a list of about 9 people.

I went through each of the profiles to narrow down my list and then went to each person’s website to gain more knowledge about them.  I narrowed down my search to one person, Pamela J. Green.  I choose from her available time (I had a very short time to schedule due to my review) and finalized our online meeting.  I received a calendar confirmation from Pamela as well.

Pamela and I met via a website conferencing site, Blue Jeans, where we talked, without video, and had our life coaching session.  I felt that Pamela listened and appropriately responded back to me, giving me things to think about and to work on.  As an aside, I think I would have liked to see Pamela during the session, but it does make it easier for both parties to not worry about how they look.

I’m continuing to work on what we talked about and I’m making great progress for something that wasn’t a huge issue, but was important enough for me to get some advice on.  You’re never too old to learn lessons and better yourself.  Life Reimagined is a great way to do just that.

Life Reimagined

Life Reimagined is for people of any age, but it isn’t completely free.  There is part of the site that it free and gives you information about your Life Map and some online program tools to work with helping your with well-being, work, or relationships.  Learn how to deal with stress, eating healthier, appreciating gratitude, sleep, self-control, and refiring rather than retiring.  They even have conferences and other gatherings.

The real meat and potatoes of the site does cost.  You can see the breakdown of the monthly plans below.  The more expensive amounts allows you to have life coaching and greater discounts on other services.

All- in-all, this is a great way to work on an issue that doesn’t need a therapist, but you want to make some progress on without having to leave the comfort of your own home.

It works.  I’m still working the plan that Pamela and I worked up and I’m grateful for her time and the opportunity to try the Life Reimagined program.

I’m grateful to VocalPoint for allowing me to experience Life Reimagined for free.  This post was not part of the review, I was not compensated for this post, and there are no affiliate links.

  1. I love how Aarp is stepping up to the plate tobreach out and offering ways to help. I know lots of older people seem to retire from life as well as work and I love they are encouraging to refire. Life coach sessions are always a good thing because they help you focus and give advice from a different perspective.

  2. This sounds really interesting, Sandy. It also sounds like a more personalized, thoughtful, and realistic approach to repurposing our lives, as it were. Thank you so much for sharing this! I also appreciate all that you do as an #OverTheMoon Hostess…thank you!
