Easy@Home TENS Unit
Whether you’re having an acute exacerbation or a chronic episode of muscle and joint pain, the Easy@Home TENS Unit is a great place to start to try to find some relief.
My husband and I have very sedentary jobs where we sit for 40 or more hours a week. Add the fact that I’m a blogger and sit in front of my computer all evening and it’s a perfect formula for low back, neck, and shoulder pain. Rather than take ibuprofen or naproxen all of the time, the Easy@Home TENS Unit is a great drug-free answer to pain management and it’s a lot easier on your stomach.
The TENS unit comes with four reusable sticky pads that plug into the four electrodes. The TENS unit runs on 4 AA batteries. One of the things that I really like about the unit is that you can use two or four electrodes by turning on one or both sides of the machine.
Once I stuck two of the pads on my husband’s shoulder, I turned on the machine and watched his muscles jump. Watch the video to see it yourself.
I used the TENS unit on my lower back, which had been giving me some trouble due to all of the sitting I do. I found that the higher the number, the more painful it was for me. When I set the machine on 6, it was good, but 10 was way too high.
It felt so good on my back that I ran one of the pre-programmed settings for my back twice. Each time it ran for 15 minutes. The program that we used on my husband ran 15 minutes as well.
I think we’ll be using the Easy@Home TENS Unit regularly now that we have it. It’s a great over-the-counter device, approved by the FDA, to help relieve pain. It’s cost-effective and will save you hundreds of dollars in medical treatment.
