Yitshar Fractionated Coconut Oil

Yitshar Fractionated Coconut Oil

Yitshar Fractionated Coconut Oil

Yitshar Fractionated Coconut Oil comes in a dark brown bottle so that the integrity of the product isn’t compromised.  The fractionating process also makes the coconut oil’s shelf life nearly indefinite and it won’t go rancid.  It is a “fraction of” actual coconut oil, because some of its properties have been removed.

Fractionated coconut oil is an excellent carrier oil that never goes rancid and is perfectly clear, odorless, and colorless oil.  Perfect for the do-it-yourself beauty product developer or as a carrier oil for essential oil users.

Coconut oil’s light, non-greasy characteristics make it the perfect oil for massaging.  It penetrates your skin while nourishing, moisturizing, and softening it.  It’s a perfect oil for those with fragrance sensitivities.  I personally like to use coconut oil as a moisturizer for my skin and to remove my waterproof mascara.  It’s much better for my skin than mineral oils.

Fractionated coconut oil has antioxidant and disinfectant properties because of the fractionating process, which raises the concentration of capric acid and caprylic acid, so it’s great for treating acne and other skin conditions.  It’s said that it works well in relieving the itching of poison ivy, although I’ve never used it for that reason.

Fractionated coconut oil does not contribute to a rise in cholesterol and is extremely stable for cooking.  It’s said that it’s better for weight loss than olive oil.  It remains in a liquid state at room temperature, unlike virgin coconut oil, and it doesn’t need to be refrigerated.
