I am really okay with my son, Tim, growing up. He’s a senior in high school this year. I know this year is going to be full of firsts and lasts. Today was his last picture for school, but it was his first Senior picture. This picture was posted on Facebook as a preview of the other pictures taken today. Kind of a taste of what’s to come. And I find myself a bit teary-eyed and nostalgic.
Proverbs 22:6 says, “Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.”
I have a lot of directing to do in this, his last year of school, to make sure he’s ready to meet the big, bad world head on. I know his father and I have done a good job. I really do know that Tim has a good foundation. We are blessed to have a wonderful child. He’s well-behaved, smart, loves his family. Yeah, I’m just being sentimental tonight.
